Taunus is an improved cylindrical beet that is perfect for slicing. Harvest at full size or as baby ‘fingerling beets.’ The highly uniform roots have deep purple flesh, minimal zoning and high resistance to cracking. It grows to a height of about 30cm (12”). An excellent beet for slicing, pickling and chipping. 

These seeds are coated with an inert, organic form of graphite. This helps to minimize clumping in storage and seed sowing machines.
